This course reviews the Incident Command System (ICS) and Hospital Incident Command System (HICS), used to organize response personnel and resources, and to manage response operations. This is a community wide all hazards table top exercise. Participants will be asked to respond to a realistic plausible scenario that could impact their facility. Participants will need to be familiar with their agencies policies and procedures, emergency operations plan, and communications plan.
Community participants include but are not limited to; Local and State Emergency Management, Local Fire Departments, Local Emergency Medical Services, License Care Facilities, Hospice Homes, Home Healthcare Agencies, Department of Public Health, Department of Social Services, Area on Aging Services, and other community partners.
Class size is limited to the first 40 registrants.
