Course Description
MGT-348 - Medical Preparedness and Response to Bombing Incidents
Participants representing jurisdictional and health care facility supervisory, command, and emergency planning staff participate in traditional didactic and facilitated instructional techniques designed to study the London Subway bombing and related support modules for salient pre- and post-event strategic planning roles, lessons learned, best practices, and local policies related to identification of targets, explosive characteristics, and general pre- and post-detonation aspects of a bombing event.
This course represents a cooperative effort between the Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center (EMRTC) and the National Emergency Response and Rescue Training Center (NERRTC), which is operated by the Texas Engineering Extension Service, a member of The Texas A&M University System.
