Considering the number of high profile active shooter/active assailant incidents and mass shootings that have occurred across the United States,
this training is being made available to all first responders. This training provides public safety responders and planners with an overview of what may be
required to successfully manage the critical first 30 minutes of a multi-agency response to a high profile incident. The rapid and successful implementation
of a strong Incident Command System (ICS) and Unified Command (UC) are recognized as critical tools in helping responders manage these incidents in
any community.
