Course Description: This course equips law enforcement officers and dispatchers with essential tools to enhance missing persons investigations. Topics include improving NCIC entries, conducting archival searches, utilizing expanded person requests, and collaborating with NGI for biometric identification of unidentified persons. Participants will also review AMBER, Missing Endangered, Ashanti, and Blue Alerts, explore criteria updates, and learn to navigate the Missing Person Alert Portal effectively.

The course highlights critical resources such as AMBER Alert tools, human trafficking support services, and intelligence assistance from the FUSION Center (NCISAAC). Aviation capabilities and search considerations will also be covered. By the end, attendees will be prepared to improve investigative accuracy, streamline alert processes, and strengthen interagency collaboration.

Additionally, the course will equip participants with the knowledge to leverage intelligence and investigative support from the FUSION Center (NCISAAC) and its Intelligence Analysts, as well as assess and apply aviation resources to enhance search and recovery operations.
