Students will receive hands on training and learn the fundamentals of flight, navigation, safety protocols, and flying techniques using NIST UAS training and evaluation standards. This course is designed for public safety teams and organizations seeking measurable pilot proficiency.
Drones will be provided.
An Insurance and Usage Fee will be charged for this course. Sworn or affiliated NC Law Enforcement, EMS, Fire or Rescue personnel with credentials may have this fee waived.
