The Annual PENSAR Swamp Stomp will simulate full scale wilderness search and rescue operations in an austere environment. The Exercise will begin on Thursday and continue through Sunday. The exercise will be divided into six (6) operational periods and will be managed utilizing the National Incident Management System. Live subjects will be utilized for the lost subject(s). This is a full scale exercise; all participants will have an opportunity to exercise their skills in operational periods throughout the event.
Opportunities for exercise players may include Incident Management, Ground Search, Canine, Tracking, Air Operations (including UAS) and SAR Communications.
