This class does not teach students how to become a crime scene analyst. This class teaches students how to use a drone to aid with their investigations. Drones can be used at law enforcement crime scenes to quickly capture high resolution photos and videos and assist with documenting and measuring crime scenes. Drones can be helpful to Fire Marshals for investigation with structure fires in a potential arson case. A hands-on flying portion will show the students how to leverage drone technology and generate detailed 2D and 3D models of a traffic accident.
