Course Overview
This course introduces first responders to safe and effective indoor drone operations in
support of law enforcement, fire, and rescue missions. Students will learn how to operate
drones in GPS-denied environments, understand indoor flight limitations, and apply best
practices for real-world public safety scenarios.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
• Safely operate drones indoors during public safety incidents
• Understand the challenges of GPS-denied environments
• Select appropriate drones and payloads for interior operations
• Apply tactical flight techniques to support responders
• Integrate indoor drone operations into incident command
