The UNC Jaycee Burn Center and Carolina Air Care will be providing awareness and operational based training of the following topics:
•Understand the role and objectives of the flight team
•Learn how to set-up a landing zone for day or night operations.
•Know how to communicate with the helicopter.
•Proper packaging of the patient for transport.
•How to load the patient.
•Know your role in the event of an LZ emergency.
Target Audience:
Fire Departments, EMS Agencies, Law Enforcement Agencies, Emergency Management Departments, Healthcare Providers, Disaster Volunteers, Airport Operators
