This course focuses on applying large animal rescue techniques and skills. LAR scenarios may include, but are not limited to the following: ropes, knots and mechanical advantage concepts; lifting; dragging; extracting from enclosed areas; and applying LAR equipment & tools.
All hands-on activities will require appropriate PPE.
Participants will be exposed to environmental conditions such as weather, insects, animals, etc. Dress and prepare appropriately!
