Voices in the Storm Symposium (NC-5-011)

The Voices in the Storm Symposium  is a professional hurricane preparedness education series focused on strengthening readiness, coordination, and communication before, during, and after tropical weather events. Designed for emergency management professionals, partner agencies, and community stakeholders, the series highlights best practices, lessons learned, and practical strategies drawn from real-world experience.

Participants will explore key preparedness topics such as pre-storm planning, risk communication, operational coordination, and community resilience..

Voices in the Storm is offered in both in-person and virtual formats, providing flexible access while maintaining a high level of professional engagement.
