Course Overview
The public safety geared thermography portion of this class will provide students with the foundational thermodynamic knowledge required to manage their sUAS's thermal camera settings and flight planning to interpret the thermal data obtained accurately. Not only will this class enhance a sUAS pilot's knowledge, but it will also significantly increase their understanding of all thermal imaging cameras used by public safety personnel. The class will be delivered through lectures, demonstrations, and practical exercises to support students' retention of the material. In addition students will partake in active Search and Rescue scenarios.
