Course Description:
The Emergency Medical Responder course is designed to train individuals with the knowledge and skills to operate as First Responders throughout the state.
Students are instructed in Basic Life Support skills including the use of AED to assist Emergency Medical technicians in the field. Many EMRs work with volunteer agencies, and this credential is a requirement for some paid fire departments and law enforcement agencies.
This Course is an NCOEMS Training product that prepares students for taking the Emergency Medical Responder Test for certification.
