This Session is designed for State caseworkers, reservists, field staff and other stakeholders providing or overseeing survivor services.
The primary objective of this engagement is to educate our state partners on the structure and execution of a Direct Housing mission and discuss the various support partners that may provide additional assistance. We will demonstrate how Region 4 DHIT can support implementation, clarify the roles of the state, and identify ways we can assist, including through partnerships, future trainings, and sharing best practices from previous disasters. The workshop will include an on-site tour of a transportable temporary housing unit and overviews of the set-up and installation processes.
These sessions will focus on scenarios relevant to North Carolina toward the ultimate goal of providing the state with additional tools and resources to enhance preparedness.
