Course Description: The Homemade Explosives: Awareness, Recognition, and Response course is designed to provide emergency first responders with the skills to recognize and respond to incidents involving Homemade Explosives (HME). Emergency first responders are presented with information necessary to recognize HME precursors, HME manufacturing indicators, and HME exposure indicators, and determine pre-detonation and post-detonation response strategies.
