Capital MRC supports the NCFC and Courage Soccer teams by serving as stretcher bearers during home soccer matches.
To participate as a stretcher bearer, you must attend a training session and pass the stretcher bearer minimum requirements each season.
Session location will be a local soccer park in Garner. TBD If a change occurs once you have registered you will be notified by the email address you have listed in Terms.
Training Day
- During this session you will learn the proper way to lift and move with the stretcher
- You must be able to walk fifty yards onto the field and assist in loading the patient (180lb)
- Working as a team of four you must then be able to lift and carry the loaded stretcher fifty yards and place it safely on the sideline
