Course Description:

The NONPROFIT SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM (NSGP) – Outreach workshop for all qualified non-profit organizations interested in applying for NSGP funding.  NSGP provides funding support for physical security enhancements and other security-related activities to eligible 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations that are at high risk of a terrorist attack.

Target Audience:  FY24 NSGP & NSGP UASI Interested nonprofits including their financial officers, project managers /or anyone else involved with the FY23 NSGP grant. 

Goal:  To increase participants’ knowledge, confidence and understanding of the Homeland Security Grant Program through the entire grant cycle, from application/award to closeout.

Objectives/Topics: Understand the entire NSGP grant cycle from perspective of subrecipient: application -> award -> MOA/grant agreement -> requests for reimbursement -> required reporting -> closeout.
