Description: The Adult Care Licensure Section (ACLS) offers Complaint Investigation Training at least twice per year to new County Departments of Social Services (DSS) staff and ACLS staff responsible for surveying and/or monitoring adult care homes. The primary goal of this training is to enhance the knowledge and skills of new staff in investigating rule-based allegations in adult care homes. Topic areas include: intake and analysis; investigative planning; investigation techniques and procedures; findings analysis; and written documentation. Please bring your licensure rule books with you to the training.
Please note: It is the responsibility of the County DSS to cover the cost of the associated travel and per diem expenses of the training workshop for their staff.
