This seminar is presented by experts from the NC Department of Insurance. The purpose of this class is to provide a general overview of property insurance and claims to our first responders, public works, emergency management and others who respond to disasters, with insurance knowledge following the disaster. Participants will hear about key principles of property insurance, common exclusions, the claims process and who to contact when there are questions about insurance matters. There will be a time for Q & A and an opportunity to network with NC DOI representatives.
