NC OEMS, in conjunction with the NC Jaycee Burn Center at UNC, is offering a 4 hour course designed to provide field and hospital personnel with a learning opportunity with updated information on:
- Easy prevention wins
- Trauma assessment for burn patients
- Airway emergencies & ventilation support
- Accurate assessment of burn depth and size
- Initial and adjusted resuscitation fluid rates
- Special considerations for inhalation injury, electrical injury & chemical exposure
- Beyond transfer: Consult, clinic & Aftercare
This is NOT an ABLS or certification course.
